Beyonce Pregnancy Rumors Surface Again
Sources tell UsMagazine.com that the singer is pregnant, months after similar rumors were shot down.

Back in March, rumors that Beyoncé was pregnant were quickly shot down by the singer's rep. Now, seven months later, the same rumors are back. On Wednesday (October 20), UsMagazine.com reported that unnamed sources say B and her rap mogul husband, Jay-Z, are expecting a bundle of joy.
"B was shocked," one source reportedly told the site. "She loves kids, but she wasn't ready to be a mother just yet. She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again." Another source added, "This is a gift from God and she's so happy." Although nothing is confirmed from Beyoncé or Jay-Z, it's being reported that the singer is in her first trimester.
The pair has always kept their private life private, but Beyoncé has been open to talking about motherhood. Earlier this year, she spoke to Allure magazine about the prospect of being a mother. "I definitely want to have a child, but I know from my nephew it's a lot. I hope that those things will just happen naturally. I still haven't had time to relax," she said.
The pair married in April 2008 and that same year Beyoncé told "Access Hollywood" there was a loose timeline of when she might want to have children. She explained, "The kids, I don't know ... in three years, maybe. It's a lot of work."
Regardless of whether or not she is pregnant, fans have been gearing up for a different kind of new arrival from B. Late last month, many speculated that Beyoncé would soon release a new single after producer Los Da Mystro — a frequent collaborator of The-Dream, who worked with Tricky Stewart on "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" — tweeted that he was listening to a new track that was going to be released in three weeks. That was in late September. No new music has been released yet.

Nicki Minaj Calls Kanye West 'A Genius'
'Kanye West is everything that I didn't think he was,' Queens lyricist says on 'RapFix Live.'

Nicki Minaj might have read Kanye West wrong at first.
Years ago, the Lil Wayne protégé thought the megastar would "hate" her because of his cushy relationships with conscious-leaning rappers Common and Talib Kweli.
In 2010, though, 'Ye would praise her, saying she had the potential to be the world's second-biggest rapper — with only Eminem ahead of her.
"I had this conversation, 'Kanye West is gonna hate me,' " Minaj told MTV News. "[But] I met him and it was, 'Oh, come here, I want you to look at these naked girls.' Kanye West is everything that I didn't think he was, and a genius."
Minaj and West collaborated on two tracks for West's forthcoming My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and the Queens lyricist supplies the opening narration for 'Ye's short film "Runaway."
After having worked with West, the Queens lyricist said she learned to appreciate his passion for music.
"He doesn't limit himself," she explained. "I heard him say the other day, not in these words, 'I'm not doing this for the masses, I'm not doing this for mainstream, you have to come to me, come get this art if you want it.' I think that's important for all artists to feel that way — we make so many changes because we want to please everybody. But at the end of the day, you can't please everybody."

Kid Cudi Stoked To Have Mary J. Blige On New Album
Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager drops November 9.
By Steven Roberts
Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, set to drop November 9, is one of the most anticipated albums of 2010. Arguably the most unexpected thing about the release is that Cudi was able to secure two Mary J. Blige cameos.
Cudi is known for genre-blending collaborations — Kanye West, Cee Lo Green and St. Vincent also are featured — but even he was shocked that the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul wanted to work with him.
Cudi and Blige first talked about working together when they bumped into each other on a flight to New York. Cudi said he was surprised she was open to a collaboration and kept her in mind when he was in the studio. He eventually found a record he thought she would fit. After they recorded it, however, neither was sold on it.
"She liked it, but she asked to hear other stuff," Cudi revealed. "I was immediately standoffish. I was like, 'Man, I don't want to play all of these other songs, me talking about cocaine and wilin' out and stuff. I don't want to disrespect Mary, and I know these topics are really intense, and the song I wanted her on was an upbeat, 'Family Affair,' happy. It's a completely different vibe, and I just didn't know how she would respond.
"I played her 'Please Don't Play This Song,' and she was like, 'I want to get on that,' " Cudi recalled. "I was like, 'You can get on anything you want.' "
Cudi said Blige went in the booth and nailed her part in almost one take. They took a listen, and she asked to hear even more of the album. He played her "These Worries," and she laid down more vocals.
Cudi said their session was very relaxed and therapeutic. Blige was really down to Earth and schooled Cudi on music, he said. He was surprised how humble she was, as she didn't want to impose by jumping onto his records.
"She didn't believe that I wanted her on any song that she wanted," Cudi remembered. "When I was like, 'You can do this third joint,' she was like, 'Really, you want me on all three songs?' and I was like, 'Yeah, I want you on the whole album if you want to be.' "

Charlie Sheen on Hotel Incident: Totally Overblown!
New reports confirm that Charlie Sheen had cocaine in his system early yesterday morning, while sources estimate the damage the actor did to his hotel room in NYC while high is around $7,000.
But what's the big deal? That's what the sitcom star texted today, as he made his first public comments since being discovered by police at the Plaza.
I’m fine,” Sheen wrote to Radar Online. “The story is totally overblown and overplayed as far as the reality of the scenario.”
Sheen would not elaborate on what actually went down, and ex-wife Denise Richards - who accompanied the actor to the hospital - is also remaining quiet.
Sources say Sheen will get back to work on Two and a Half Men this week, while a Colorado judge is unlikely to revoke his probation because he wasn't technically caught committing a crime.
Guess that pretty much wraps up this sketchy incident. Until Sheen's next one, that is.
Taylor Swift Turned To Songwriting Out Of Loneliness
'I was going through a very lonely phase at school,' Speak Now singer tells MTV's 'The Seven.'

Taylor Swift became a chart-topping singer and songwriter as a teen, and while her drive and focus likely pushed her megastardom, she said she originally began penning lyrics because she was lonely.
"I turned to songwriting because I didn't really have anybody else to talk to," Swift said during an interview on MTV's "The Seven" Wednesday (October 27). "I was going through a very lonely phase at school, which a lot of kids do. It's just when you're going through it you feel like you're the only one going through it."
Channeling the pain through the pen, Swift used her loner status to launch her into superstar territory. Along the way, she's learned that while her lyrics may be informed by new experiences, she plans to remain true to herself.
"I changed a lot over the course of my life, and having written songs since I was 12, your perspective changes," she said. "But I think part of growing up is realizing that you'll never change, but you'll never stay the same either."
One thing that doesn't stay the same is her schedule, which picked up the pace as the starlet dropped her latest album, Speak Now.
"A typical day for me, it's fun, because, lately, there really is no typical day. There are some things that are always gonna be the same, like my priority on family and making sure that I always remember to love this," she explained.
Although she has to maintain the packed and sometimes punishing schedule of a global pop star, Swift says she doesn't regret trading in dorm life for the limelight.
"I'm very conscious of the path that I chose in life and that it is a different path than what my friends chose. College and living in a dorm, that would have been my life if music hadn't been my life," she said, adding that she gets a taste of the campus experience through her close friends and family. "I always keep one eye on that path. I go and I visit my brother at college and I visit my best friend Abigail at college and go and I attend her journalism class. I have no regrets about the path that I took, but I still try to experience as much as I possibly can in life."
Swift maintained that her "biggest challenge is staying closer to hope rather than being closer to fear," but added that doing what she loves keeps her grounded.
"Loving this is a big part of my life and sometimes, if you get too tired or you're jetlagged, you might forget," she said. "But I always remind myself that I love this."
Don't miss "The Seven" every weekday at 5 p.m. ET on MTV.

Director Compares to Kristen Stewart to a "Herd of Cats"
Kristen Stewart is like a herd of cats... but in a good way!
So says Jake Scott, the director of Welcome to the Rileys, an upcoming drama in which the Twilight Saga star portrays a downtrodden stripper. Asked about working with the actress by E! News, Scott replied:
"She's very vulpine - very wolfish - and wily, kind of twitchy. Directing her is kind of like wrangling a herd of cats."
Bella who?!? Kristen Stewart expands her resume in Welcome to the Rileys.
It sounds like the director means this in a complimentary manner, though, as he continued:
"[Kristen]'s been playing this same character in - what? - two or three movies now, and that frustrates her. She wants to be taken seriously as an actress... she's very proud of her work in this movie."
The film centers around a couple, played by James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo, who has lost their daughter. In an attempt to recover from this pain, Gandolfini's character befriends Stewart's Mallory and attempts to turn her life around.

Taylor Swift Was Surprised By Her 'Buried Life' Cameo
'I was like, 'They had a camera on that?' ' she recalls of appearing on 'Ask Out the Girl of Your Dreams' episode.
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Jim Cantiello
In this season's second episode of "The Buried Life," Taylor Swift unknowingly made an appearance when one of the show's stars, Duncan Penn, asked her out on a date.
Much to the singer's dismay, the plea, of course, ended up on television.
"I had absolutely no idea that that stuff was filmed, so there was this realization when I got an e-mail from my manager," she told MTV News while promoting her upcoming album Speak Now. "And he was like, 'Hey, can you approve this? It's this episode of episode of "The Buried Life," ' and I was like, 'They had a camera on that?' "
In the episode, Penn storms the CMT Awards to accomplish #59 on his buried list: Ask Out the Girl of Your Dreams. Swift eventually agreed to go out on a date with Penn, however, the details of their date remain a secret. "I'm not gonna tell you what happened after that," she teased.
In her sit-down with us, Swift also dished on "Back to December," one of the new songs from her album. The singer said it was her chance to apologize to a former boyfriend.
"Well, I've always sort of written songs about situations in life, things that needed to be said," she explained. "And I've always thought that, you know, I write songs about people who deserve to have songs written about them, and whatever they need to hear, whatever is the right thing to say to that person — ends up being said."
Are you surprised Taylor agreed to go out with "The Buried Life" star? Tell us in the comments!

Rutgers Students Talk Digital Abuse After Tyler Clementi's Death
Students say more effort should be put into combating cyberbullying.

Although digital abuse and cyberbullying have been ongoing issues among young people, the recent wave of suicides by gay teens who have been subjected to harassment because of their sexuality has brought renewed focus to the problems.
In particular, the tragic death of Rutgers University student Tyler Clementi, who took his own life after a classmate allegedly taped him in secret during a gay sexual encounter and posted the video online, has shocked and saddened many and highlighted the potentially traumatic effects of digital taunting.
In the wake of Clementi's death, MTV News asked many Rutgers students how they believe cyberbullying can be eradicated. Several young people suggested that because digital spaces such as Facebook and MySpace are primarily used for social purposes, users typically don't consider the consequences their online communication may have.
"I think the community should be more aware of cyberbullying because I don't think people take it seriously," Cassie Guadalupe said. "People don't take Facebook that seriously but when your business is out there, especially when its public like Facebook and MySpace, it should be brought to people's attention because ... as you can see it can really affect people."
Amanda Murillo agreed that many social-network users don't take into account the harmful implications of posting something snarky, gossipy or cruel on the Web.
"We don't put a lot of attention into cyberbullying because people think, 'Oh, it's the internet. It's just something that someone said on Facebook, it's not that big of a deal.' When someone else is reading that online and you're breaking someone's heart online ... it's destroying people's lives," she said. "I've been cyberbullied before and I know exactly how bad it feels. People are just trying to sweep it under the rug like cyberbullying isn't that big of an issue."
Erin Simon has also been the victim of digital abuse but, fortunately, she was able to resolve the issue before the situation spiraled out of control.
"I've actually been involved in cyberbullying. I wasn't the person that was saying the stuff, I was actually receiving it from the individual, and it's just not a thing that I would want any kid to go through. Luckily, I was able to find out who it was and talk to the right people to get it figured out," Simon said. "But cyberbullying, I would not want anyone to go through that experience. It's a horrible feeling and your self-esteem goes down and really it's just no different than teasing and horribly harassing someone in person."
Ethan Lu suggested that because of the increasingly swift advances in social media, young people haven't taken into account the detrimental effects of sending hostile messages online.
"We haven't caught up with the technology," he said. "Technology grows exponentially and I guess our behavior has yet to catch up."
Scott maintains that regardless of how one chooses to communicate, users must be mindful of others' feelings.
"I think that it is everyone's problem to address how we're interacting online and how we're treating one another in person as well."
How do you think we can combat cyberbullying? Let us know in the comments!

'Let Me In' Director Matt Reeves Talks Deleted Scenes
'In general, the movie is what it was planned to be,' he tells MTV News.
By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz
We can't imagine stepping into the very complex shoes of a film director, but if we did, one of the toughest aspects of the job would be those last few days in the editing room, when certain scenes of your film have to be cut for the sake of time, tone, etc.
When MTV News caught up with "Let Me In" director Matt Reeves recently, we asked him what scenes from his coming-of-age vampiric thriller ended up on the cutting-room floor that he'd like audiences to see someday.
"There is a scene that at some point I want to show, which is, we did a version of Abby's [played by Chloe Moretz] sort of original attack, when she was attacked," he explained. "It's what I call the 'be me' scene; I guess that's probably what it is. From the novel ['Let Me In' is an adaptation of the acclaimed Swedish novel and 2009 film version 'Let the Right One In'], there's a scene where she asks [Owen, played by Kodi Smit-McPhee] to 'be me a little,' and he actually feels what she felt and experiences emotionally what she went through at the moment she was attacked."
Reeves said he's really proud of that scene — especially the child actors' performances — so he hopes to show it to audiences someday. "I know we're going to show it, but I'd say that's one of the very few things that didn't make it in," he said. "There are lots of little bits of things we kind of whittled away, but in general, the movie is what it was planned to be."
"Let Me In" opens Friday.
Check out everything we've got on "Let Me In."
